OPD: Treatment
of acute and chronic psychiatric disorders (bipolar
mood disorder; schizophrenia), geriatric psychiatric
disorders, psychosomatic disorder, dysthymia in
children and adolescents, anxiety, insomnia,
psychasthenia and autonomic nervous system
dysregulation.
2. Acute ward: 50 beds.
3. Day-care ward:
100 beds (chronic occupational therapy)
4. Joint consults and legal psychiatric
evaluation (court-appointed evaluations) |
| Medical
Team |
Various
professional members form a medical team to provide
psychiatric care, and through daily morning reports,
rounds and regular treatment meetings, under the
guidance of the Director, individualized treatment are
formulated according to patient’s needs so that they
may be treated their families assisted.
1. Doctor:
Make diagnosis, responsible for the patients’
overall treatment plan, make treatment orders and
evaluate treatment results.
2. Nursing Staff:
Utilizes the improved Primary Nursing Model to
provide patients with a safe and supportive treatment
environment that offers nursing consultation and
holistic bio-psycho-social care.
3. Occupational Therapist:
Provide treatment with activities and
entertainment, training in life skills, occupational
rehabilitation evaluation, occupational assessment and
counseling, and various group therapies.
4. Clinical Psychologist:
Provide psychological and cognitive assessment,
evaluate personality, aptitude, psychological and
emotional status, physiological feedback and various
psychological treatments.
5. Social Worker: Hold meetings with families to understand the social factors
related to the disorder, assist in formulating
discharge plans, and provide social resources, family
group therapy, family treatment and counseling. |

24-hour In-hospital Care:
Other then pharmacological, environmental and
psychological treatments the occupational therapists
will also arrange for various therapeutic activities.

Day-care Center:
The day-care center operates with a
case-management structure. Patients will receive treatment at the hospital during the
day from Monday to Friday (09:00~15:30), which,
besides providing drug education and drug compliance
training, also offer many occupational training
workshops (cooking, baking, hydroponic gardening,
hospital services, administration, environmental work
and garden management), as well as group entertainment
and therapy. There
are also a multitude of therapeutic activities and
activities outside of the hospital.
It is hoped that with this multifaceted
approach in a modern environment with activities the
patients may regain their functions and return to
society.
