Introduction
         We are the only hospital offering radiation therapy service in the Greater Hsin Chu Metropolitan Area. Our department had undergone total renovation in early 2003 with replacement of the outdated radiation therapy equipment. We replaced it with the newest state-of-the-art sophisticated machine for radiation treatment, which includes the Fully Automated Multi-Energy Elekta Linear Accelerator with high and low photon energy range plus choices of 6 electron energies with the capability of IMRT treatment delivery. We also install an advanced model of Nucletron MicroSelectron Brachytherapy Unit with the finest and thinnest brachytherapy sources, enabling us to treat tumor within the body.
Our department is staffed by highly qualified and highly trained professionals under the guidance of the radiation oncology specialist Dr Chang Fu-Ti, who served as the department director, whose resume includes training in cancer center at Linkuo Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. We offer a relaxing atmosphere which is conducive for alleviating anxiety of the patients. We have softly lighted and well furnished waiting area, with friendly clinical area which would make initial visit a memorable one.
