Introduction
         

We are the only hospital offering radiation therapy in the Hsin-Chu Metropolitan Area. Our department had undergone total renovation in 2003 with replacement of the outdated radiation therapy equipment. We replaced it with the latest state-of-the-art sophisticated machine for radiation therapy, which includes the Fully Automated Multi-Energy Elekta Linear Accelerator with high and low photon energy range plus choices of 6 electron energies with the capability of IMRT treatment delivery. We also installed an advanced model of Nucletron Micro-Selectron Brachytherapy Unit with the finest and thinnest brachytherapy sources, enabling us to treat tumor within the body.
Our department has highly qualified and well trained professional staffs which under the guidance of the radiation oncology specialist Dr Chang Fu-Ti, who served as the director and was trained in the cancer center at the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (Linkou). We offer a relaxing atmosphere to smooth patients. With softly-lighted and well- furnished waiting area, our friendly clinical area making the initial visit a memorable one.
