Introduction
          The Department of Pathology consists of two major parts: Cytopathology and Histopathology. We have well-trained staff and sophisticated equipment to provide the examination of both tissue sections and cytological smears and to fulfill the needs not in our hospital but also in the whole Hsin-Chu area. The staff in our department includes a chief visiting physician, two medical staff for surgical pathology, three for cytopathology and one research assistant. Besides the routine examination, we offer cryostat, special stain, immunostain, immunofluorescent stain and cell block to make diagnosis more precise.
