Introduction
Our department provides services including regular out-patient clinics and
29-beds in-patient service. We have well-equipped and well-trained teams, such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and pediatric rehabilitation. A variety of special examinations including electromyography, urodynamic studies, musculoskeletal ultrasound
imaging are also provided.
Our multi-disciplinary team includes the following

The Physical Therapy Unit
The physical therapy unit includes electrotherapy room, physical exercise room and cardiopulmonary fitness room. The electrotherapy subunit treats patients with body discomfort using the various electromagnetic devices. The exercise room provides effective rehabilitation programs to improve the function of patients with
neurological deficits. The fitness room was equipped with machines for aerobic training (e.g. treadmills, bicycles).
The Occupational Therapy Unit
The occupation therapy unit focuses on the restoration of daily activities
(dressing, washing, eating, etc.) of stroke patients. It also acts as an
important role in patients with tendon rupture or burn injury.
The Speech Therapy Unit:
The speech therapy unit provides swallowing training, aphasia evaluation and pediatric speech therapy.
The Child Development
Intervention Center
The unit is an "early-diagnosis and early-intervention" center for children with delayed development, either physically or
mentally. The early intervention center is multi-disciplinary,
it includes physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist,
etc. .
