Introduction
Our department provides services including regular out-patient clinics and 38-beds in-patient facilities. We have well-equipped and well-trained treatment teams, such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and pediatric rehabilitation. A variety of special examinations including electromyography, urodynamic studies, musculoskeletal ultrasound are also provided.

The Physical therapy Unit
The physical therapy unit consists of electrotherapy room, physical exercise room and cardiopulmonary fitness room. The electrotherapy subunit treats patients with body discomfort using the various electromagnetic devices. The exercise room provides effective rehabilitation programs to improve the function of patients with neurologic deficits. The fitness room was equipped with machines for aerobic training (i.e. treadmills, bicycles)
The Occupational Therapy Unit
The occupation therapy focuses on the restoration of daily activities ( dressing, washing, ea ting ¡K.) of stroke patients. It also acts as an active role in patients with tendon rupture or burn injury.
The Speech Therapy Unit:
The speech therapy unit provides swallowing training, aphasia evaluation and pediatric speech therapy.
The Child Developmental Center
The unit is a ¡§early-diagnosis and early-intervention¡¨ center for children with
delayed development , either physically or cognitively. The early intervention is multi-disciplinary and a team work including physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist ¡Ketc.
