Conference of members
People who are tall and thin , who smoke and who have a family history tend to suffer from
Spontaneous pneumothorax. At present,
the incidence of spontanuous pneumothorax is 1 to 7 people per hundred thousand.
Commonly the first symptoms are chest pain, shortness of breath and/or a cough.
Generally the patient feels anxious, helpless and troubled, and it results in a
worsening quality of life. We have 3 to 4 new cases every month. We held a
conference to provide adequate knowledge of management of this disease and help
the members to have a better life with mutual understanding.
