10 cases of bronchoscopic Thermal Vapor Ablation for COPD patients a new treatment way

On December 19, our hospital held a press conference to celebrate the completion of 10 cases of bronchoscopic thermal vapor ablation. Mr. Luo, who successfully underwent the treatment, was invited to share his experience. Superintendent Dr. Yu stated that the hospital has been developing care for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) for many years and has received certification. Dr. Zhang Liyu from the Department of Thoracic Medicine explained that bronchoscopic thermal vapor ablation can improve the quality of life for patients with severe emphysema, with low risk and quick recovery. The hospital has successfully completed more than 10 cases, providing more treatment options for patients.

Women and Children Medical Center Reaches New Milestone with Over 100 Newborns in a Single Month!

In October 2024, our hospital reached a new milestone with over 100 newborns in a single month for the first time. Superintendent Dr. Yu stated that to provide comprehensive medical services for women and children, the hospital has continuously upgraded its maternal and child care capabilities. Since its opening in December 2021, the center has welcomed nearly 2,500 newborns, showcasing its professional medical team, advanced equipment, and comfortable environment, earning the trust and recognition of the  community.

100 Cases of Da Vinci Robotic Arm Surgery

March, 2023. NTUH Hsin-Chu held a press conference on "Smart Medicine: 100 Cases of Da Vinci Robotic Arm Surgery". Superintendent Dr. Chong-Jen Yu said that he is glad to see in less than 10 months, with the efforts of the Department of Urology, Surgery, and Obstetrics, 100 Cases of Da Vinci robotic arm surgery have been completed. This shows the great amount of need for high-tech surgery. Tong Baoling, director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, explained that the Da Vinci robotic arm could assist doctors in completing operations more accurately and efficiently.  NTUH Hsin-Chu will continue to work hard to provide excellent medical technology so that patients in need can receive perfect treatment.
