Q5: What is the difference between an international and general outpatient clinic?
A5: The international special outpatient clinic is in charge of a dedicated nurse and provides English services throughout the process. It is suitable for foreigners who come to our hospital from overseas to seek medical treatment. It can assist foreigners who do not understand Taiwan's medical environment and procedures in obtaining convenient medical services.
The general outpatient clinic is similar to the health insurance clinic, and the patient registers and seeks medical treatment by himself. It is more suitable for foreigners who do not have language barriers and who have a better understanding of the medical procedures and environment in Taiwan.

A6: You can contact our center by phone|+886-3-5326151 ext. 526780,526781 or Email|cih@hch.gov.tw
Our colleagues will evaluate the number of days and possibly medical expenses according to the patient's needs and symptoms and assist in arranging follow-up visits to Taiwan for Medical-related matters.

Q8: Does your hospital's international particular service accept insured patients?
A8: If the foreign patient's insurance company has signed a service contract with our hospital, the insurance company can issue a letter of guarantee for medical expenses. Suppose the insurance company does not have a contract with the hospital; in that case, the patient must pay first and then ask the insurance company for the payment after taking the hospital's English receipt and medical certificate.
